Running Acad 2010, but this is a problem dating back to 2000 - import an excel or word doc into autocad drawing, if erase word doc or spreadsheet, remnants of the transfer can be seen as little solid rectangles (may have to zoom out to see). Can't erase, or so it seems. Problem is they seem to exist to autocad, when zoom extents the boundry includes these remnants. Anyone know how to erase or eradicate these fun little fellows?

set QTEXT to ON, do a regen, and see if you can select and erase.
