Background color doesn't mean a thing.
You have to make a "hatch solid" for background
Go to Monochrome and define your colors black is white and white is black.
or plot to PDF, go to photoshop and save as .gif, invert the b&w

I just tried nameing my colors in monocrome black is white and white is black and it is still printing the whole background black. It just started this when I reloaded CAD. Is there anything else I can change to make my background print white? I figured out it happens when I make a window in paperspace and print from paerspace.

Found that the driver for thr printer was the whole problem. Whent to a different printer and works fine. Thanks
