Is AutoCad 2010 able to convert a pdf, tif or jpeg to dwg or dxf file. Or do I have to buy a converter software. If I have to buy a program, any suggestions. I've recently downloaded some free trial offers but the dwg's come out all distorted. Not straight lines, etc..

Buy a 3rd party converter: try before you buy.
www.dotsoft.com for a pdf converter. Raster to Vector programs are more
"iffy", the quality of their translation depends heavily on the quality of
the file you start with, most jpegs are junk.
