I would like to give someone some of my drawings to someone who has a licensed version of autocad. but when they open the work i have done on my student version it still has the tags saying "autodesk educational version" . even when i copy it to a new drawing in the licenced version it still has the educational versions.....can anyone help? Iv tried downloading a trial version of autocad to open the file but it knows that Iam a student...just basicly want to do some drawing in the trail version so i can hand the drawing over to a friend....

Download full version, but not plain autocad, it will work the same , draw with it and send it out.
(or you can send them .dxf instead of .dwg)

Once a file has been edited in a student version, it will always have the student stamp, and willinfect any drwing it's used in with that stamp. The reason for that is to prevent exactly what you are tying to do.
You could try a 30 day trial version, probably on a fresh PC and redraw everything. Or, install Draftsight for free, and use that legally.

This is correct. Once a file has been marked as a student version it will never be able to be used in a commercial version without that watermark showing. There is no way to remove this on your end...legally.
