    Model Space and Title Blocks

Hello it has been quite some time that I have done this. I received a file that the client has that is set up into Model Space and 2 tabs for title Blocks they already have.

After doing the dwg in Model Space how do I get it into the title block Pages.

And as Far as changing the title block I thought there was a file that brought up anything that needed to be changed.

    Thanks

    Hi,

These "tabs" are called "Layout" in AutoCAD, and to get the model-geometry visible on the layouts you have to place at least one viewport plus zoom/pan within the viewport to see the geometry you like to see in the scale you want.

    For more info look >>>here<<<.

That's more difficult to answer as we don't see what you have. If it's a block, a XRef, single geometry containing lines and text ... it's differently to handle depending on the geom-type.

The most usual (structured) case is you have an AutoCAD-Block holding attributes, to modify the text-type data you just have to double-click the block.

It turns out that the "Model Space has a "Title Block" in it also.

So when I go to move it into the title block Page They over lap and dont line up.

I have to delete one or figure out something because it comes in as a complete

block with the outline of the Model space page.

In well structured drawings the title block has to be placed on the paperspace of the layout, I would delete it from modelspace and _INSERT it in each layout.
