Hi,
>> I can't print dwg to Adobe PDF
It would be a help if you can give more detailed info. Out of your message ti could be:
- AutoCAD crashes
- PLOT-dialog does not start
- you have chosen the wrong printer.driver in the PLOT-dialog
- you get an empty PDF-file
- you don't get any file written
- you get a PDF-file, but you can't open it with a viewer
- you get a error message?
- ....and a lot more.
Where do we have to start?

Hi,
please show two screenshots, one showing the PLOT-dialog when you have all properties set ... and the other from this error-message.
BTW: Why don't you use the driver "DWG to PDF.pc3"?

Hi,
With this settings you don't use the Adobe printer-driver.
In the PUBLISH-dialog you have set PDF as output (top left of the dialog and that uses the "DWG to PDF.pc3"-output. Sometimes it helps if you create this PC3 file from scratch or you copy it from another computer.
You can also try to verify the printer-config by starting a PLOT command for a single layout and use this PC3-file.
Good luck, - alfred -

The "DWG to PDF" plotter comes with your installation of AutoCAD whereas selecting "Adobe PDF" to plot an AutoCAD dwg means you have Adobe Pro software installed on your computer as well. Were you able to make pdfs of AutoCAD dwg files before you installed Adobe Pro on your computer?
When I PUBLISH, I do not use page setup overrides; I either plot using the output device saved in each tabs' page setup, or I import a page setup from a separate AutoCAD dwg file. This works from my computer, which has both AutoCAD and Adobe Pro installed on it. Even though I have both pdf distillers in my plotter list, I only save DWG to PDF in my page setups.
Out of curiosity, I've attached an old file (minust its xref) with the page setup set to DWG to PDF. Try publishing this without overriding the page setup and see if this might produce pdfs for you.

This setting can be found a few places in AutoCad.
1. Publish (see post #5 of this thread) Publish Options>Prompt for file Name setting.
2. Within Sheet Set Manager options.
3. In the .pc3 file itself which can be opened by right clicking on the pc3 in windows explorer to access the options.
What is likely happening is the pdf is being created and because "prompt for file name" isn't enabled it creates the pdf and is placing it in the default pdf output folder.
