I hope some one can help with this problem.
When saving an AutoCAD drawing there is a Thumbnail image saved (if you have the option turn on), but when the command "Edit Xref In-Place" is used there is no Thumbnail image saved. So now when I try to preview any drawing that has been edited through this command there is no longer a thumbnail.
I am using AutoCAD 2012 and the option to save a thumbnail is turned ON.
Thanks in advance for any help you might have.
Thanks,
Jeromey

I am confused by your answer.
Maybe my question was not so clear.
I am wondering if there is a way that "edit xref in-place" will create a thumbnail?
As of right now there is only a thumbnail created when I save a individual drawing but no thumbnail created using "edit xref in-place".

short answer, Edit XREF in place does not save a thumbnail. if that's important, use XOpen instead of RefEdit.
sorry buddy, that's just the way it works
