I have a drawing template (block) where the drawing number is displayed in two locations (attributes). The same value has to be entered in both attributes.
Is there any way of "echoing" the data from one attribute to other attributes (or text objects)?

Hi,
using fields can do that (>>>details<<<).
Check the attached drawing with one sample block inserted. Change it's attribute "ORIG" and after that do a _REGEN.

Almost perfect.
Only minor issue is that the second attribute (COPY) can be overwritten accidentally. Would be ideal if the second attribute could be hidden or protected although I don't think it is possible.
Does the job though, thanks for your help.
