Drawing size on an A4 at different scales,
The A4 can have a drawing size up to 29.7x21 meters when printing with a scale of 1/100 while it can have up to 14.8x105 meters when printing with a scale of 1/500.
Does this mean that we need to have different title blocks each time we print in an A4 paper size with different scale?
Thank you for the help,
Best

just one title block will be fine, just use viewports in paper space for multiple drawing scales.

Thank you for the answer.
please, have a look on the video below:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TyM3u88KJpI&feature
Then in all cases, we need to create more than one title block when printing in different scale:
For example:
- if the size of the drawing less than 21x29.7 meters then a title block of 21x29.7 will be ok when printing in a scale of 1/00
- if the size of the drawing less than 42x59.4 meters then a title block of 42x59.4 will be ok when printing with a scale of 1/200
- if the size of the drawing less than 420x594 meters then a title block of 420x594 will be ok when printing with a scale of 1/2000
- the screenshot below summarizes the size of the title block needed when printing in same paper sizes with different scales.
This assures the need to change the size of the title block depending on the drawing size and the scale required! Is this the way we handle such sort of things?

Hi Jamal,
The way I work is to create the title block on the paperspace layout tab and place a viewport. This means you always get the titleblock aligned correctly on the page and can modify the viewport scale to whatever is necessary to display the model space drawing at appropriate scale.
Everything is drawn at 1 drawing unit = 1m in model space and if you have dimensions set to annotative, you can set the paperspace size and it stays at that for every viewport scale you use.
Hope that Helps
Steve :-)

Thank you guys for the contribution. Your comments are quite helpful.
Right Steve. I built my A4 title block e on the layout such that I can select any drawing from the model space to print with the scale of my choice. That’s great.
What if I need to print the title block on A3 instead of A4? Do I need in this case to resize the title block to fit the A3 paper size? Or there is some other smart way?
Best
