Data link from Excel turns into green blob

I'm inserting a data link from excel into my CAD drawing and every time I try to select the table it brings in, the corner "grips" the green plus signs, are so huge they are bigger than my sheet and I can't see anything in the table.  Anyone know a way to shrink them to a rational size?

    Hi,
There is no way to modify the size of these markers that I am aware of, however they should not be appearing in this manner. One thought might be to check the GRIPSIZE system variable, although this should only affect selectable grips. The default value is <5>.
Are you working with a drawing which was created in an older drawing format?
Did you receive the drawing from an outside source?
The drawing itself may be corrupted. Test the datalink in a new drawing based on the acad.dwt template. Do you have the same problem?
You can also try checking to see if there are errors in the drawing database. The Technical Document TS18809891 provides some methods for drawing file maintenance which will correct many errors. In most cases items 1-5 are sufficient.

    Let me know what happens.

    Cheers,

    Volker

    Hi,

I wanted to check back to see if you were still having problems with this?

    Cheers,
