Create Polygon Mesh

Hello,  In previous versions I could create a flat polygon mesh by typing "3D" and have an option to create a planar mesh "M" X "N" by specifying the 4 corners along with M and N.  I don't see a way to draw this mesh in 2012 without having to ID every vertices.  This procedure is listed in the Legacy portion of Help, but I do not see a way to do it.

Thanks

Is there a particular reason why you can't use Loft instead?

Loft gives me a solid panel, but not a mesh with grips at the vertices that I can manipulate individually.  At least I can't see how to do it.

Thanks

Loft can also be used to create surfaces.

Have you had any training/experience with the new mesh and surface tools in AutoCAD?
You might try searching for archive classes here http://au.autodesk.com - look for one called something like "Making a Mesh of it."

JDMav - were you able to get what you were looking for from the AU documents that JDMather pointed out?

If so please mark his post with the AU document as an Accepted Solution.
