AutoCAD 2010/2011/2012 DWG Format

I have a lot of old drawings made in AutoCAD r12. In this drawings there are text with ÅÄÖ in.

How do I make this letters readable? Now they are greekletters. In earlier versions there were a command called dbtrans.

Hi Anna,

Can you upload one of these files? I think that the font is missing.

There used to be a translator for similar files, but it only woks in AutoCAD 2000:

No I dont think so, its only 245 kb.

I do know this with dbtrans but I dont have any computer that is so old, I have tryed to install AutoCAD 2000 but it dos not work.

What work is to change the font to fiso.shx, then its is readable but the ascii is still wrong. But it is a solution if nothingels works.

Now I test to add a file again.

Hi Anna,

I am not sure which language it is so I'm not sure how much this helps, but have you tried opening the file with Design Review 2013? It has a good file converter.
