Hi everyone,

I would like to learn is there any possibility to provide renaming the tag name of a created attribute, if there is a way, it could great to learn it from your side.

I will be waiting useful replies.

1. Select the Attributed block in your drawing which you want to change the tag.

2. Type BATTMAN in command line.  Hit ENTER and a dialog box will open.

3. Double click on the block name in the BATTMAN dialog box.

4. An Attribute editor box will open.  Select the Attribute tab.

5. Change tag name to what you want.  Hit OK and that box will close.

6. In the Block Attribute Manager, hit the SYNC button in the top right. Then hit OK to close that dialog box.

Your tag should now be changed to the new name you selected.

Yes thanks for your solution, It really works but after sync, the values of attributes are changed. Is it any way to control their styles like previous form?

The values of the block Attributes should not change because the Tag name was changed unless that Tag name is already defined in the drawing.  Then the re-named block Attribute will take on the attributes of the existing block Attribute with the same tag name.  Is that what happened?

The Tag names are renamed. There is no problem about that.

But  the value words of the tags font sizes' and font types' are not stay same as the old style.

As the attached pictures. 2 is after renaming tag situation.

The pictures you provided suggest the block attribute was created using multi line text attribute definitions.  The text boundary area can be set to a particular width when created using this method.  In other words, the text the user enters will stretch itself out to fill the text boundary defined by the creator of the block attribute.  You will have to redifine the boundary width if the numbers of characters are going to be a constant and different than what is current.  If not, then you will have some stretch and some compress depending on the number of characters entered for that attribute entry.
