I am new to Autocad. I have some plans of buildings and I would like to calculate their area(m^2). However, I don't have their dimensions; I only have the scale of each plan.
scale of each plan? are the files not drawn at 1:1 in the DWG file?
SCALE command, or ALIGN command with the scale option, work with a known dimension on the plan you have (for example, do you know which door is 3-foot side?) and fix the CAD file if it is not drawn at 1:1.
