Bold text inside viewport and slim text inside paper space?

I have this strange situation.. i use the Arial font inside my cad drawings and when i print my paperspace layout, the text inside the viewport is a little bit more "bold" then the text i put directly on paper space.
Maybe it's a trick to know what text is placed where, but i want all this to be uniform, same thickness. Is there a system variable to correct that issue?
See the image below: It's a 400 DPI scan from an impression i did.
Up to COUPE C1 is the text inside the viewport, under COUPE C1is the paperspace text. Both are the same height... but difference tickness.

See also, there is a difference when i look at it directly from Autocad, here is a screen shot. Text inside the view port has some kind of anti-alias problem while the text inside paperspace is fine.
Inside viewport i have a 1:8 scale, text at 16 mm / Outside text is a 2 mm. Exact same height.
If i do a DIST, for the text in PS i get 1.9mm on the letter "T" but inside the Mtext props window it's really 2 mm. Inside the VP the letter "T" is 2 mm (measured in PS)
I just don't understand this situation.. i don't use the "B" bold option on none of the 2 above texts.

There have been various posts regarding similar situations to this and one solution I've seen is to use the "Flatten" command.
Hope this helps.

Check and see if all the text is at the same elevation............
The "flatten" command may not have worked on the text objects

PLAN + W isn't changing anything. Must be something else.
I tried in 2008, it's the exact same situation. It looks like an option to tell the operator which text is where in case one works in paperspace instead of modelspace.

A couple of things to try, type ELEV, and verify that it's at 0
Next, select the offending text, and change it's Z value in properties to something else, 100 or something. Then, after that, reselct the offending text, and change the Z value back to 0. It's possible that even though the properties dialog _says_ zero inititally, there's a miniscule variation from 0 that hidden by the drawing units precision, or simply a rounding error.
