Hello,
I'm having an issue right now. I have multiple HP printer (mainly laserjet 9050, laserjet 5100) that have a hard time printing 11x17 in autodesk.
When the user press print, Autocad crash. With the laserjet 5100, the problem was "resolve" by adding another print queue with postscript drivers. Now, I don't feel like adding more then 35 print queue in postscript just so user can print in Autocad directly.
The other work arround I found is to print into pdf creator then print the PDF. You can understand the frustration of the users. This issue exist since autocad started doing 64-bits version.
Thanks
P.S. Problem with your forum. When putting more then 10 tags in the Message Tags field, I get error "
Please correct the highlighted errors and try again.
- You have exceeded the limit of 10 tags per minute.".
Should be exceeded limit of 10 tags, not 10 tags per minute...

I have not had consistent success with the "Universal Driver"
Another common workaround (which I am still using) is to create a custom paper size that is 11x17. My system will crash if I use autodesk's 11x17, but if I use a custom paper size (of exactly the same dimensions) it prints just fine...
Good luck.

Ok, I changed the driver for the latest universal pcl 5, we'll see what it does.
I've also inform the teacher that he can try using a custom paper size. I'm just wondering how the printer will handle it. Sometime the printer is so dumb that someone send a custom 8.5X11 and it request to put this type of paper into the printer instead of using the one already there.
Thanks again, I'll keep in touch with the result.
