Trying to use a tablet. Get message "Unable to load DLL driver module" from Options\System\Current Pointing Device whenever I try to switch away from "Current System Pointing Device".
DLL file "dgwintbn.dll" is in the folder specified by the "Device Driver File Search Path.
Running Win7.
Tablet runs concurrently with a mouse and both cause cursor movement in any program, but AutoCAD doesn't recognize tablet.
"Tablet" command gives "Your pointing device cannot be used as a tablet."
Suggestions?

When you are installing the tablet driver, make sure you have the right version for your OS design.
For example, with Win 7 64-bit, the 32-bit tablet driver will not be recognized by the Tablet command in AutoCAD and you will get the message "Your pointing device cannot be used as a tablet." Install the 64-bit version of the TabletWorks driver or consider the Virtual Tablet Interface (VTI) from Vtablet.com. This is not a free driver, however.
For a WIn 7 64-bit system, you might also check that the version of dgwintbn.dll in your DRV folder is 18.2.51.0 for AutoCAD and AutoCAD LT 2012.

Running Win7 Pro 32 bit. Tried Virtual Tablet Interface 7.11, Tablet Works 10.09.0024, and 10.08.0014. No joy.
dgwintbn.dll is version 18.2.51.0

I'd tried to install via Vtablet, but my digitizer is conecting with USB cable and in the installation there is only COM ports.
I just want to menssion that in the official driver of GTCO drawing board 5 (the latest one) the computer is fully recognize with the digitizer and I can see it work and moving also in the Acad software, but as you understand, when i tring to pick the digitizer in OPTIONS->SYSTEM the DLL file error had showed.
Thank you very much for your help!

The hardware interface to the tablet is controlled by the driver. You should describe your problem to Digitizer Technology's technical support at this link.
From the link above:
"If you need technical assistance, you may send electronic mail to Digitizer Technology at support @ vtablet.com. Please describe your computer system, software versions and the problem you are experiencing along with your name and serial number, if registered."

Have exchanged emails several times with Al Schumer at Digitizer Technology. They don't think problem is with their driver.

If you are positive it is running, then I suspect Your contact at DT does not actually do any 2012 testing (or LT testing).
Does their product page/site list R2012 AND LT2012 as supported? If LT is not mentioned it may not be.

Hi,
first I'm positive that the pointing mouse at the board is works properly.
Second, I'm trying to understand the root of this problem, and I'm in touch with the GTCO company support, they told me that I need a USB - converter... What does it means?? Because at their installation the only possibility options are: COM1...COM6 and I'm connecting my board with USB cable...
If someone can help I will be very grateful.
Thanks

Please don't take this the wrong way, but try a search at www.google.com to find and purchase such a cable, and understand the required settings changes. Then get back in touch with your support source for configuration help. Post back here with FULL details if you get stuck and they cannot help.
You have a lot to go through, purchase and configure first: your tablet and it's driver are not communicating right now.
