i am running Windows 8 developer preview on my machine, as Windows 7 cannot boot with my specific bootloader method. The installation crashes before it can install the app. I have attached the dump files, and I have submitted these almost 5 times previously, and have not gotten any replies. Is there any way you can help me?

Actually, It's not truly a support issue, I am able to manually install any Autodesk app on it, and run it just fine, with the minor quirks because of something not being installed. I have managed to boil it down to (I think) the .NET 4 framework. Windows 8 has .NET 4.5 installed, so, is there any way to make the installer skip .NET 4?

Just so you know Inventor installs just fine and runs great in Windows 8 beta.... It's the **** Windows Net Framework... coding that is not yet compatable there are several work arounds but AutoDesk needs to fix this....

AutoCAD 2012 needs .NET 4.0. I'm guessing this is probably built into Windows 8. That's what Microsoft seems to do with each new version of Windows. You can run the acad.msi to install AutoCAD, which bypasses all the prerequisite checks and installs. It's in your install folder inside the \x64\acad folder.

Yes.
What I did in the setup ini file is under "[DOTNET4]" and "[DOTNET4LANG]" I added: "IGNORE_FAILURE=YES"
Look under "[DOTNET20]" few lines below, you can copy it.
To me this way seems more "natural".
Worked like a charm, however i did use autocad mechanical so there might be a difference.
