AutoCAD 2010/2011/2012 DWG Format

Evening everyone,

I have recently started using AutoCAD 2012 having previously only used older versions.  I am hoping you can clear something up for me.  A very useful tool on previous versions for me has been where you could close two parallel lines using the toolbar circled below.  Whether it be a tube or whatever, it was a 'line break/end symbol' if you like.  So it symbolised as if the tube had been cut or broken.  I have searched high and low on CAD and the net and can't find it; does this toolbar still exist on the 2012 version?

Sorry - I have no idea.  But, If you "undock" that toolbar and drag it to the middle of the drawing window, you should see its name when you hover the mouse over the ends - like a tooltip.  Then you can check in 2012 if a toolbar with that name still exists.

Thanks for the reply.  Unfortunatly that image is simply a screenshot from years ago of an older version.  I no longer have any other version other than 2012.

Looks like a homemade toolbar.

The colors just a bit unusual.

You could check all of the toolbars available using CUI.

I work for a pipe locator on the side and some of those tools look useful.  Maybe they are custom as Patchy said.

It may have been or I'm starting to think it was maybe part of an add-on software that worked along side AutoCAD.  Thanks for your help chaps.
