Hi,
I've got a problem editing the 3D drawing that i just drew on my windows AutoCAD 2008 on a AutoCAD 2011 for mac.
I'm not even able to select an object. What could be the problem?
Thanks in advance.

Hi alfred,
I'm new to AutoCAD and am not familiar with "audit". but after searching the net for it, i tried "auditctl" and when it prompted i entered0 "1". But did not receive a ".act" file as said. also tried just "audit" but it asks for "s or no" confirmation to fix any errors if found.
So wat whould i do?

Hi,
the way I have asked for is to type in the command _AUDIT (I also have placed a hyperlink to the help-file behind the name! I did it here once more).
And then answer yes, let the program now do the work and you will get the info of what happened, what has to be repaired (what was repaired) all in the command are. That could be copied to a textfile (for uploading here) or direct into your answer.

Hi,
ok, "Total errors found 0" is a good message, so we can concentrate on two things
- either there are some elements that the Mac-AutoCAD does not know (e.g. object from ACA, Civil3D, ...)
- or what happens to the application
So can you try some things:
- try to get the objects selected with _QSELECT
- what happens if you first start a command, e.g. _MOVE and then select the object
The more info you can give, the more info we can return (at least try to).

Hi Alfred,
So here is a video answering the questions that you've asked. I guess showing it to you would help more.
I've narrated the problem there. So turn on the volume... :-)

Hi,
first: this is at least 1 kudo worth .... for how you prepared the description for your problem .. great! ![]()
And then I'm real sorry that I can't give any more support. As you saw in the other drawing with the solid-object it may be a problem of the mac-version, either a bug or "as-designed" ... I really don't know that. Sorry!
maybe there will come another one who has the mac-version and can help you, or (I think the better option) you go to >>>this forum (AutoCAD for Mac)<<< and give your question a new try (refrence to this thread so it's not identified as crossposting).
Good luck anyway, - alfred -

Hi Alfred,
Thanks for the kudos
... I just thought it would be better if i'd show you the problem than just explaining to you through words.
But anyways thanks for your help... And yes i'll post this on the mac forum!!!
Thank You
Renie Ak
