Hi.
I know that you have a big reason for no building an AutoCAD version for mac: amount of mac users. But as you know, the amount of mac users have been incresing considerably since these last years. Why? because Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger brought innovation and advanced technology to its users...
So, why don't you try to build a version for mac? All we know that Mac OS X is better than Windows OS. And Mac OS X Leopard will arrive in a few days... bringing us more technology and innovation.... Think about it!
Thanks...

Do a little research next time, AutoCAD has been running successfully on a
MAC for years, just not natively, explore the links here, or look them up
yourself on youtube.com:

Since there are many Mac users in the world, this question does come up from
time to time. While we could double our workload by recoding a copy of
AutoCAD specific to the Mac and redo all of our testing, we find that PC
emulation software has advanced sufficiently where performance has reached
an acceptable level. Shaan Hurley has commented on this topic on his blog:

I think you are taking the wrong approach here. People come to Autodesk
discussion groups for answers. They are not required to do their homework
before coming here. No one is required to answer any of these postings, so
asking questions that could have been easily answered elsewhere is also not
a problem.
For years I maintained a DWF FAQ. People would often ask questions in the
discussion groups that were covered in the FAQ. Did I tell them read the
FAQ? No. I often pointed them to the FAQ which saved me a lot of typing. The
FAQ made my job easier, but it was not incumbent on Autodesk customers to
memorize the FAQ before venturing into the discussion forums. The FAQ was
simply a tool that was available to those who wished to avail themselves of
it. With all of your vast experience and AutoCAD knowledge, you are also a
tool. So please continue to share what you know in these forums.

Hi.
Yes, you're right, sorry. I never will send these types of discussions to this site.
Thanks for your contribution to the Discussion Groups.

Hi. Thanks, but your reply doesn't respond my petition about building an AutoCAD for mac. I know, it's a hard petition to request.
By the way, Boot Camp will expire in these few days.

LOL, forget Boot Camp, that's a lame solution: post in Apple user groups and
find out how real Mac users run Windows apps all the time, for a long time,
without waiting for a MacOS port.
Obviously you're not serious BTW on finding a solution, unfortunate.
