how to open parasolid with AutoCAD 2008?

I need to open some parasolid files (*x_t) with AutoCAD 2008, but apparently some translation software is still required as it cannot find nor import anything but default formats such as (*.sat, *.dxf).

I have an XchangeWorks CD which is supposed to add this kind of functionality, but it appears that it only supports up to AutoCAD 2004?? I did install XchangeWorks, and it proceeded as-expected, identified association with the AutoCAD 2008 application and completed with no error messages. Unfortunately, there was no XchangeWorks menu added to AutoCAD nor any apparent change in the import command.

Short of buying SolidWorks (not in the budget), any suggestions would be appreciated .. thanks in advance!

One of many for-purchase solutions:

Or upgrade AutoCAD (or download the triral of the latest version if this is a short-term one-off need):
