When I explode a block it disappears but will reappear if I reopen dwg. regen doesnt work. This only happens on dwgs that were created in 2007 Mech and have 2009 mech. new dwgs are fine. What can I do as I have hundreds of 2007 dwgs?\

Have you both applied the Solid Fill Hotfix?

Whenever you explode a block, the lines that compose the figure will go to layer 0, if the layer 0 is frozen, they will disappear. Does it solved the problem?

Hi,

>> Whenever you explode a block, the lines that compose the figure will go to layer 0

Sorry, that is only valid for lines that were drawn on layer 0 within the blockdefinition. And sometimes it makes sense to create blockdetails on other layers than 0.

As the thread is 5 years old I guess that I don't have to give any suggestions to go on now :smileywink:
