drawing a rope in autocad

hello all,

i have been doing a prject for school and these week im going crazy because the only thing im mising and cant draw is a tightlywondrope. The ropa has a Width of about 4cm, its lenghte has to be around 80cm., the rope conects to 2 blls one at each onde that are 6cm raduis(outerball) and the inner one has 0 cm raduis.

also the boudnary lines around the rope are in black with a 1cm offset also. is there anoe aout there that couls show me how its done..

This is the fisrt time im asking for help. i have to hand " Mail it to may Proffessor until MIDNIGHT today " .
you could see the ropes im talking about is the picture there the ones to the left and right of the flag .

Do you simply mean a 2D representation of these ropes?

 

If so, is the attached the kind of thing you mean?

I was thinking along the lines of a standard hemp rope. silly me.

Well, if the OP has a 12:00 midnight deadline, you'd think he'd be back
here checking to see if there have been any replies.

The solution I attached, although based upon some of the OP's suggested
sizes, does not correspond as well as it might to the graphic he posted.
However, it was not in the slightest way difficult to construct, and
unfortunately, the OP does not really indicate why he is experiencing
difficulty drawing it himself.

Maybe he will reply later.

yes to both questions.. im trying to do it in 2d and the same as the atahced pictures....

Sorry - that would be for 3D and you want to work in 2D.
