convert architectural drawings to engineering

I am bringing in architectural drawing into an engineering plan 1" = 40'. The dimensions are in feet and inches.  Can I convert this to feet in 10ths?  When I scale it down the labels are still in feet and inches.  I want them to be in feet in 10ths without having to re label all of the dimensions.  Is this possible?

You need to redfine the various settings in the DIMSTYLE being used as well: the same goes for text styles etc.
