about creating new layers.

good day Sir!

i just would like to ask something thats been bugging me out for days. .

its about creating new layers.

i created a new layer, checked it and closed layer properties manager.

but my new layer doesn't show when i open the layers again. .

i had no choice but to use "0" (since its the ONLY LAYER THERE) i just change colors and linetypes.

but its a big problem when i need to turn off some parts of the drawing.

what could be the problem. (i am using AUTOCAD 2008)

Let's try to do it from command line..

Command: -LA -LAYER
Current layer: "0"
Enter an option [?/Make/Set/New/Rename/ON/OFF/Color/Ltype/LWeight/TRansparency/MATerial/Plot/Freeze/Thaw/LOck/Unlock/stAte/Description/rEconcile]: m

If you follow previous commnad problem still there or what ?

You might click on "All Used Layers" filter accidentally.

Just click "All" above it.

but when i try to delete it, nothing happens. .but this helped
