Unhandled Exception 66

Unhandled Exception 66 (Access Violation Reading 0xec00000) at address EC00000h

I get the above in a dialogue box every time I shut AutoCAD 2008 down (Architecture as AutoCAD). No results from the knowledge base or discussion groups.

Does anybody out there have any ideas? I've started to do a repair, but it is not obvious (to me) how this is done as there does not seem to be such an option. I don't want to uninstall/reinstall as this causes grief, according to this discussion group, and i'm not really having a problem at the moment, but I fear it may be a sign of some larger problem.

Thanks

Duncan

A repair is a reinstall, put the product CD in and follow the prompts. Not
sure that will fix anything.

Are you using a stand-alone license or a network license installation?

I know that the network license install has had some issues before like that when exiting out of AutoCAD, especially if you have checked out a license.

Try to install Autodesk Service Pack 1 for AutoCAD 2008.

http://images.autodesk.com/adsk/files/autocad2008lockedsp1.exe - for 32-bit Windows
or
http://images.autodesk.com/adsk/files/autocad2008lockedsp1x64.exe - for 64-bit Windows

This Service Pack modify AcCamera.arx file.
