Printing many .dwg's at once

There must be a way to do this.  I have messed around for awhile trying to figure it out but haven't yet.  Do you really need to open each drawing to print it out a certain way?  For example, 11x17, monochrome, print extents, landscape, etc.  Thanks.

Have you tried PUBLISH?  


Alternatively you can write a script as well.  Nowadays I use my sheetset to just publish the drawings I want.
