Paperspace Text not showing up when I do print preview

Hi everyone,

I am having the strangest problem. I've created a Arch D size paper in paperspace. I've created a viewport to show what I want. My problem is I am adding text directly in paperspace right over the viewport. When I do a print preview the text disappears, however when I move the viewport out of the paperpace and do a print preview the text shows up! This is very strange, I have never seen this before.

If anyone has any ideas or suggesttion why this is happening it will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

Have you tried the AUDIT command on the drawing?

Have you can tried "regenall"?
And also check your plot setting, ensure "Plot paperspace last" ticked.

Check the layer that the text is on. It may be set not to plot.

Are they True Type Fonts (TTF) or SHX fonts? Have you tried putting text over the viewport and printing and in the same drawing having text outside the viewport area? Have you tried using all autocad shape font files (SHX)? Do those print? Is the printer a Windows Printer Driver or a Post Script driver? Is is sitting on top of an image or hatch pattern?

We quit using TTF's due to ghost texting (no other way to explain it), memory, collaboration, and performance issues. We are using an OCE TDS700.
