Is it possible to lock a dwg file so no one can make changes to it?

Hi,

you can set read-only status by operating system. But you can't avoid someone to save the drawing locally and do then changes.

Here is why that's never a good idea:

Provide more details on whom you are trying to lock out of your files, or talk with them about it, or send them PDFs instead.
