Layiso and Unlayiso ShortCut

Trying to create a shortcut for layer isolate and unlayer isolate.

When I go the express, command alias, i don't see these commands as an option when I click Add.

Can someone run me through the steps to creating these shortcuts?

First, try the alias editor found in Tools> Customize > Edit Program Parameters.

It's notepad, not a dialog interface.

Alternate command alias for keyboard (use for express tools commands, etc.):

 (defun c:LAI () (c:LAYISO))

 (defun c:LAU () (c:UNLAYISO))

 (princ) get the idea.

Place these in your ACADdoc.lsp file (or similar).

If you do not have ACADdoc.lsp, open notepad and add these 3 lines and save file as ACADdoc.lsp.

Place this newly created file in a folder that is shown in the Support Path section of the dialog called OPTIONS.
