Is there any simpler way of converting drawings from bently' microstation
format (dgn - v7 or v8) to AutoCAD's format (dwg or dxf) without installing
The last two are there to help quickly search through the first tab.
HELP>Index Tab>type DGN and explore.
Knowing where to go first is not an AutoCAD ability, just a reasonable
approach for anyone using something unfamiliar to look up the "Help" files.
Consider applying this to all things you are not familiar with that come

Nope. There is not a way for AutoCAD 2004 to import DGN to DWG. You need to upgrade your AutoCAD to at least 2006.
Or search on Google/yahoo for dgn to dwg. There is an AutoDWG batch converter that I'm using now.
