Hello, I am a student using autocad 2014. I already tried to reeinstal the autocad but it always comes with the same error. I dont know what to do since thats the second account I made in autodesk because the first one I got the same probem. I am getting this error:

Yes, same error.  The heading of the error reads

"Unhandled exception has occured in a component in your application.  If you click Continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. 

Arithmetic operation reslulted in an overflow"

Not sure if that helps at all.

Hi,

I would now:

a) login with anohter Windows user and try it again

b) repair the AutoCAD Map installation

c) repair the Framework 4 installation

d) if Framework 4.5 or 4.51 is installed, uninstall it

Sorry, that are just guessings, but hoping it is a help!

I tried a new user, same problem

I repaired the AutoCAD installation, same problem

I removed Framework 4.51, installed 4.0, same problem.

Hi,

not so many ideas open ... have you tried another XLS if you get the same error again? And as the better alternative, what happens if you convert that Excel sheet to a Access database table (or SQLite, or anything "more like a real database") and try to connect then?
