Anyone here know how to do this kind of animation? What software needed to create this animation?
Thanks in advance
Be more spedific.
Looks pretty "spedific" (specific?) to me. LOL
And animation usually refers to something akin to movies, cartoons, etc.
When I click the link the OP provided I saw an animation, typical of the design field using Autodesk products, akin to a movie, cartoon - looked like it was created in an Autodesk product, I could do something very similar in Autodesk Inventor (maybe not so much the water).
Did you mean a simple animation like the one on this link:
This can be simply achieved using a program such as Inventor (apart from the water).
If you required water then I would advise looking into 3DS Max BUT water is compicated to animate. There has been a recent article in the latest 3D World where they discuss water plug-ins for max. There is a promising one called (from memory) Naide.
I've done several water feature animations in Max myself and the high rendering times due to the massive number of particles made me grimance.
As a side note, Invetnor will allow you to make simple assembly animations quickly and without much learning but ultimately Max will give you vastly more abilities.

Hi Hugh Compton,
Thanks for the info. your animation is similar to what my boss wants :-).
now i need to study the inventor and 3D max and find plug-in for animation.
i am new to 3d animation and i would like to know which software was used for this video animation. this would be very useful to me in teaching.
