opening acad drawings under 2009 problem

hello - each time i try & open a acad drawing created under 2009 (2002, 2004, 2005, etc.) 2009 messages me that the drawing is corrupt & requires to run recover - i run recover & sometime the drawing will load other times another error message appears - anyone else have this problem & is there a setting or fix - any help would be appreciated - thank you

It can be many things. Just verify if you have an "acad.err" somewhere in one of your folders, delete it if it's there.
It can be a corrupted entity, make a WBLOCK of your drawing and try to open it again,
