AutoCAD 2007/2008/2009 DWG Format

hi,
I'm trying to fix this problem but I couldn't find anything.
My esc key is not working, I mean it doesn't cancel anything, it's like "dead". I downloaded trial versions of autocad architecture 2009, autocad 2009, and in both programs it starts working then after some minutes it's dead. If I reboot it starts working again, but for some minutes only. My keyboard works fine.
I hope you can help me in some way. Which can be the origin of the problem? thanks a lot,

Does AutoCAD exit when you hit the "Q" key?
