AutoCAD 2007/2008/2009 DWG Format

hello there,

i am stumbling on a very strange problem that has never occurred until now.

i want to set dimensions on a layout and all vertical dimensions seem to be wrong whereas the horizontal ones are ok. if i set dimensions in the paper-space they are ok either way. any idea what this could be?

What is "wrong"? Color, lineweight, linetype, dimension-value, ...?

If you can upload a drawing it would be great (and I think much faster to get a result).

You tried _AUDIT to repair any problems within the DWG-database?

You checked your dimension-style? You tried the same within another drawing?

it is the value of the dimention that is wrong. exp: a value that should be 175 appears as 173

Hi,

without seeing the drawing I would check:

a) if I have used the object-snap points correctly

b) if there has been any modification to the scale of the viewport

Because in this viewport you have a slight Z in the UCS.

Try dimensioning it again in the new drawing.

how can i get rid of it? it doesn't show in the properties.

Go into each viewport, and type in UCS, W  and then PLAN, Current to correct each viewport UCS.

or copy the correct viewport and redo Zoom XP.
