ANY IDEAS ON 2009 TRIAL STOPPING ON OPENING? RUNNING ON VISTA. DO I NEED A PATCH?

are you running 64bit vista and trying to install the 32 bit trial?

that was my only thought, do you meet all the other requirements?, what do you mean by it stops? I have not installed it on Vista, I have XP

It loads partly. the camand line shows it looking under user directory for dwt file to load. then it locks. I thought those file are under the acad dir. ???

It's not locked up, it's just having trouble connecting to Autodesk's
server. Just wait, it will eventually time out and continue to load.

Unistalled & reinstalled I've tried to run program and let it time out. 10 min. still no time out. this is the error mess. that opens

Is your ribbon showing? If not you may have the wrong .net version installed.
