    Support File Paths in 2007LT

    Hello All,

In an attempt to reference the correct hatch patterns file, I replaced/re-linked my support files path to a new location with the correct .pat file.  In doing this, I lost my font definitions file (duh, cuz it wasn't in the new location).  However, when I re-link back to the original support folder with all of my original support files, it does not seem to 'take' and my fonts are not loading.

    I am running 2007LT

Clearly I have gotten in over my head.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks!

    ohhhh No, no replace/relink.

You Add new path by click on the support folder and go to the right of it and add, then click on the browse button.

or you can just move the .PAT to the existing folder, doesn't matter which, as long as it's in the existing search path.

    Thanks, Patchy.

However, I tried both of your solutions (several times each, because they were logical solutions) but they never took?? Do you know why the program would claim it was reading the support folder, but when I updated the hatch file in that folder, the hatches never showed up in CAD? Perhaps it is the same reason why when I relinked to the original folder, it would not read all of the support files?

If the new hatch file doesn't show up, the reason could be the name of the pattern doesn't match the name of the pattern.

For example, if you have a Diamondtread.pat  when you open it with wordpad program the heading for this pattern has to be:

    *DIAMONDTREAD
    11.3099325, 0,0, 0.7354355,0.4902903, 0.3186887, -2.8681985
    etc,................

and in this Diamondtread.pat it can't have any other patterns (unlike ACAD.PAT it has many in it)

    Hello

Have you a backup of the OLD .PAT files ?

In other terms, are you able to "roll back" ?

Because I suppose that there is something wrong inside your NEW .PAT file !?

    Bye, Patrice
