Polyline grip - move to entered distance?

    Hello All,

We recently got new computers and had to install ACA 2008 again and little by little have been tweaking the settings to get them back to what we had before on our old machines.  One thing that I can't seem to figure out how to correct is some setting for adjusting polyline grips.

I used to be able to select a polyline, click on a grip point, and move the cursor in the direction I wanted and type in a distance I wanted it to move and hit enter and the grip would move that entered distance.  But now, when I do all that and enter a distance, the grip inturprets that distance entered as what the length of the PL segment is and shrinks or enlarges to that dimension I entered.

I'm sure this is a quick and easy fix, just don't know where to fix it at.  Can anyone help me out?

    Thanks.

Do you have running osnaps on? Turn them of and try again.

Is DYN on? Turn it off and try again.

Which worked and which did not?

    Dean,

Turning the DYN off while keeping the OSNAP on did the trick.

    Thanks!
