    Insert DWF underlay

    Please help.

Cannot insert DWF underlay into DWG file.

I just get a blank rectangle formed by a line.

I use Autocad Design Review 2012 to turn a pdf into a dwf file, then try and insert DWF underlay

If you are using 2010 or above, you should be able to attach the PDF directly.

I would check the forum for compatability between DR2012 and ACAD 2008. That sound like the most logical reason it is not functioning properly.

i have been able to convert PDFs to DWF and have it attach in 2009 w/ no problems. but the DWF file is way bigger than the PDF. A converted DWF from PDF will behave the same as an image attachment. You might be better saving your PDF as an image and attaching the image instead.
