AutoCAD 2007/2008/2009 DWG Format

Hi everyone,

I am trying to transfer a stand alone copy of AutoCAD 2009 onto a new computer. The company i work for has kept terrible records of our software and licensing information. I am told we havent owned an AutoCAD Installation disk since 2004 so I'm assuming the users since that time have downloaded the installation media off of the autodesk website since we do not have any installation media on our servers.

Now the oldest version you can download from autodesk is AutoCAD 2010. I need 2009 to do the license transfer. Does anyone know a work around to this problem so that i can get the 2009 software onto the new computer. Is there perhaps any way to create an image of the installation media or anything like that?

You might be able to buy a replacement media from your Reseller.  The downloads for 2009 have expired and are no longer available.
