I had the same problem. I uninstalled my object enablers and everything works fine now.

I'm noticing a similar problem every time I open up LDD 2004 and start a new blank drawing. After double clicking on the LDD 2004 icon, the application will first go to Autodesk Map and then give me a message that says "Can not find the resource string number 11927 in resource AecUIBase40." I'm able to work in LDD 2004 with any file, but I would like to find out how to resolve this issue. Has anybody else experienced the same problem? I have included a screenshot for reference.

    Thanks,

*edit* - This was meant to be in response to the AeccvBase50 error that was posted previously. */edit*

We ran into this same issue on one of out user's machines here. It was a relatively new re-install of AutoCAD '08 on a machine that is about a year old. She was opening drawings that appear to have been created in an '04 version of ACAD and I believe that was what was causing the problem.

In the end we ended up going to Tools -> Options -> System Tab and then checked the box that says "Check web for live enablers".

I don't know if this will work for your particular situation, but it's worked for us.
