    BCOUNT tool is not working.

I type it and CAD doesn't recognize it as a command.

How do I get it back?

    Hi,

BCOUNT is a command from the express-tools. So you haven't them installed or they are not loaded (they won't get loaded it the support-path to the ExpressTools-directory is not added).

The express tools pull down does show up when I have opened CAD.

    Does that mean it's loaded?

I'll check under options and tools, but in the meantime please let me know what to do.

    Thanks!

    Hi,

    >> The express tools pull down does show up when I have opened CAD.

That means that the menu from the express-tools is loaded, not that the tools themselfes are loaded.

If you click to any of the commands within this menu-group and you get the message like "unknown command" then the ExpressTools are not loaded.

    >> [...] let me know what to do

Start _OPTIONS, go to tab "Files", within the first group for support-path add one path for the express tools (you will have first to scan through your AutoCAD-installation folder that you have a folder "Express" and there are files in it).

Check this screenshot (for 2013, so you must use your paths for 2007)

Ok, so I thought I repathed the file to the correct location.

Then I shut CAD down and restarted but BCOUNT is still not working.

    Thoughts?

Ok, got it! Oddly enough it was pathed on our network and when I repathed it to the local drive it worked.

    Thanks!!!
