    AutoCad fatal error

Everytime I have a file open and then try to open a new file I get fatal error: Unhandled e06d7363h Exception at 7591d36fh and AutoCad then shuts down on me.  I have sent the error report to Autodesk but have never heard anything back.  Can anyone explain to me why this is happening?

Did this problem just start? or has it been going on since the year 2007?

What changed recently, or about the time thhis problem started, on your PC? Something did change.

It has been happening on and off for about 4 months now.  As far as I know nothing has changed on my computer, I tried reloading AutoCad but that didn't fix the problem.

    hi,

try to open first the dwg that you get Unhandled Exception does it open?

if it does not? you need to audit / recover it

generally most of the problems is inside the dwg database. if after fixing it

it still won't load? then the problem might be in AutoCAD or OS or Hardware.

    cheers

It doesn't matter what I'm opening as soon as I hit the open button I get the error, I don't get far enough to pick what file I want to open.

    Hi,

what antivirus-software do you have? And: have you tried to disable it?

    >> It doesn't matter what I'm opening as soon as I hit the open button

What happens if you turn off FILEDIA (set it to 0) and try then command _OPEN and put the filename you like to open in the commandline?
