My company recently installed AutoCAD Civil 3D 2009 on my computer. They also installed Microsoft Office 2010. I use the AutoCAD Civil 3D Destop Companion as my working platform for my drawings. When I open a file that has surveyed topographical points (northings, eastings, point number, desc, elevation) the following error message comes up:
Error opening Point Group Database: {project path}\Cogo\Groups.mdb
System resource exceeded.
Does this have something to do with AutoCAD 2009 not being compatible with Microsoft Office 2010? If not, what is causing the error message?
The same error occurs when I do a qsave or a saveas. I then loose properties/layers/linework in my drawing.
Other files without topographical points open okay.
HELP!

Yup, go back to old MS 2007 if you run LDD

It looks like a problem with resources (RAM). What OS are you using?
Please note that both Civil 3D and Access are quite resource hungry. Try to end all other applications when working in Civil 3D.
