Hi guys,
I am new here but i have an urgent question which needs to be solved.
I use Meridian , a piece of software which attaches an Autocad 2009 dwg to a Tiff file which will be edited in Raster Design.
This added DWG can not be opened in acad 2009.
So when i open the file in notepad it says at start says II* , which needed to be AC1021 ?
Can anybody tell me if II* is another acad version , or is the file corrupted ?
Before we had this problem also with Acad 2002 , and we converted it with dwg trueview and it al worked fine, so if trueview could read it , it should be an autocad compatible file.
Please help!
Thanks in advance
Regards,
Alvin

Hi pendean , thank you for your reply!
I have attached one of the dwg files which i cant open.
If you read this article you can find all autocad version codes which appear in the beginning of the dwg file when opened in notepad. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/.dwg
I would love to hear you findings
