hi there,
I am working with lines and have problem to select the line that is under the another line that has same position and size. is there a way to chose which line to select if you have two same lines one on top of the other but on the different layers (not using turn layer off)
thanks

Lock the unwanted layer. I know that is not much different than off, but
its a start. Other ideas if they have different elevations is to use a 3D
iso view or use quick select to filter out the unwanted layers.

Another idea is to use a crossing window to select both and then use the
shift key to unselect the unwanted line.

Depress CRTL when selecting to "cycle" though objects that are within the
pickbox.

Hi, With your cursor positioned over the line (lines) press and hold the shift key down and then repeatedly press on the space bar to tab through the objects below the cursor. Once the one you want is highlighted click with the mouse to select it.
