Flash Back To 2002, Please...

I am now working at a company that employs Release 2010, 2012, & unfortunately, 2002.  There is one guy who refuses to move above 2002 which sticks me with this old old version.

That being said,

I am amazed to find I cannot use window crossing to trim or extend in 2002, whether it's a circle or line.  Does anyone know of a fix or lisp routine to correct this ridiculous problem?

FWIW, 2002 may be the only version I've never used, so this is a really inconvenient adjustment I'm trying to get used to.  It used to be that the Fence option was for hard to get to spots where Crossing was not as easy.

HELPMEPLEASE!

HELP in 2002 may explain it: FENCE was the only option back in the day. You can't change or "fix" it.

I certainly understand it's the only option, I promise I read HELP to death!
But this is a problem exclusive to 2002. Maybe my dinosaur wil come around...
