I get this message "DLL - An attempt was made to load a program with an incorrect file format" when i try to start up Autocad, Inventor, or Mechanical Desktop when i first boot up my computer. Once i just click "ok" then my toolbars are gone. I keep restarting the program and eventually i get all my toolbars and i wont see the error until i reboot my system. I am running Windows XP 64-bit (with a 64-bit processor) if that has anything to do with it? Anyone know of what may be causing this problem or how i can solve it? I did try to do a repair, but didnt seem to help.
I get the same error for all AutoCAD's (2006, Mechanical, Inventor). After the errors, none of the menus will load, even manually without generating another dll error. Restarting the program as you described showed no improvement for menu loading.
I have a 64 bit Opteron system running Windows XP 32 bit.
I have upgraded to .NET 2.0 which HAD NO EFFECT...
